JediWannabe.com was first conceptualized as a means to expose the talents of local bands to a broad audience by harnessing the power of the internet in an effort to help them expand their fan bases. But that dream has grown into so much more. Our idea of creating a simple website to assist local musicians has developed into a community where artists from multiple mediums, be it music, drawing, film, or photography, will have a platform from which they can present their work to an expansive audience and network with other local artists to continue improving upon their passion. No longer will local artists struggle to be heard. We will amplify their voices. We will be the driving force thrusting them to the next level of their professional growth. We will take what they have made and show the rest of the world how amazing it is.
In essence, that is the definition of a Jediwannabe. One who acts or creates something amazing; having a talent that no one else can do. Whether it’s writing a song that changes the lives of those who hear it, creating a drawing or a film that inspires someone to do great things, or being able to perform a feat of skill that seems unreal.
